My First Fantasy Ball… And I Am Still Reeling
On April 26th, 2025, I stepped into my very first fantasy ball at the Flame and Fantasy Ball hosted by the incredible Dark Flame Society. I am still reeling from how absolutely breathtaking it was.
My friend Alex and I spent months creating the perfect Feyre and Nesta gowns, and every glue burn, stubborn thread, and pesky rhinestone was completely worth it. We even treated ourselves to professional photos because if you are going to transform into fantasy royalty for a night, you may as well commit fully.
Walking into that ballroom felt exactly like stepping into a fantasy novel. The lights, the decor, and the music all shimmered with magic. The entertainment was phenomenal, the cosplayers looked like they had stepped straight out of a book, and the drinks were flowing in the best way.
As for the dancing, I do not think we stopped for hours. The energy was electric, the joy was contagious, and I am not sure anything will ever top that feeling of being surrounded by people who love fantasy just as deeply and dramatically as I do.
Dark Flame Society set the bar incredibly high with this event, and I cannot wait to attend whatever they dream up next.
