A Spellbound Day at The Witching Hour
On October 4th, 2025, I had the absolute privilege of being an attending author at The Witching Hour, hosted by the incredible Dark Flame Society and honestly, it felt like stepping straight into a fantasy realm.
I was part of the Spellbound Book Market, and the entire experience was pure magic. I met so many spooktacular book lovers, each one dressed to impress and radiating that perfect blend of witchy charm and bookish passion. The energy was electric, warm, and a little wicked in the best way possible.
One of my favorite parts of the day was having my friends with me at my table. We committed fully to the vibe, and yes, we absolutely went all out with our witchy fits. Black lace, dark glam, celestial accessories, all the vibes. And let me just say… I am now completely obsessed with black lipstick. There is no going back.
Beyond the fun outfits and amazing readers, I was so grateful for the chance to meet and catch up with fellow authors. There is something so comforting about being surrounded by people who speak the same creative language, who understand the chaos and joy of building worlds and falling in love with fictional men.
And then came the moment that truly made the night unforgettable.
At the evening Witching Hour event, I received a tarot reading from Carolyn Ullrich, and it brought me to tears in the most beautiful, cathartic way. Her words, her energy, her intuition, everything hit deep. It felt like the universe reached out, tapped me on the shoulder, and whispered, “You’re exactly where you’re meant to be.”
Both events that day left me overflowing with gratitude, inspiration, and that spark of magic that reminds me why I adore this community.
If The Witching Hour taught me anything, it’s that readers, creators, and a little witchy flair can turn an ordinary day into something absolutely unforgettable.
Here’s to more magic, more books, and yes… more black lipstick.
